Everybody loves getting a good review. So here at BetterInvesting, we’re thrilled that the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors recently gave our Mutual Fund Handbook, 3rd Edition, the thumbs up in its magazine, the NAPFA Advisor.
Although NAPFA is pitched to professional advisers and BetterInvesting is geared to do-it-yourself investors, writer Kevin Adler points out that the Handbook has something to offer the pros, too.
“It’s a good communications tool that gives concise and clear explanations of major types of investment vehicles,” Adler says.
“The Mutual Fund Handbook does a good job of explaining the multitude of tasks involved in managing investments properly.”
Adler notes that Danielle Schultz, a Chicago-area Certified Financial Planner who updated the Handbook, uses BetterInvesting tools. Schultz began using BetterInvesting for her own money 15 years ago before she became a CFP.
The Mutual Fund Handbook is only one way to learn about the investment vehicle found in most Americans’ 401(k) plans. Beginning Thursday, April 18, BetterInvesting is offering a free, four-part webinar series, “All About Mutual Funds,” and it isn’t too late to join us.
