Julie Werner, a member of BetterInvesting’s board of directors, said on CNBC’s “Closing Bell” that she just built her dream home using money she invested since the 1980s as a member of a BetterInvesting investment club.
Appearing on the program’s “Retail Investor Outlook” segment on March 31, Julie said her favorite stocks at the moment include Gentex Corp. (ticker: GNTX), Polaris Industries (PLL), CVS Health (CVS) and her longtime favorite, Tiffany (TIF). Tiffany is now in the “buy range,” Julie noted.
Today’s market has investors puzzled, the panel agreed.
“The bull market is getting pretty long in the tooth; there’s a lot of uncertainty out there,” Julie said. “The summertime usually is a pretty volatile time.”
