From time to time BetterInvesting’s name is improperly connected with an investment vehicle in which someone claims that the organization recommends it. On May 2 we received notice from the New York State Office of the Attorney General of a possible recent instance. The BetterInvesting home office was informed that alleged communications have been circulated seeking investments in a vehicle recommended by NAIC/BetterInvesting.
NAIC/BetterInvesting has no connection with this possible solicitation and as a condition of its nonprofit status does not recommend individual investments. BetterInvesting always urges you to conduct you own studies of any investment of interest. We thank the New York attorney’s general office for contacting us and for conducting an inquiry into this matter.
